Eighteen
Content & age
This house is for adults. The dark here is meant to be looked at, not acted out.
You must be eighteen
By entering you confirm that you are at least eighteen years old. If you are not, leave. There is no children’s version of this sanctuary.
What you may encounter
Works may show the unclothed human body without sexual purpose — anatomy, vulnerability, symbol, grief. This is not consumer pornography and is not offered as arousal-for-sale.
Works may show or speak of violence, wounds, illness, or death, as elegy, witness, or form. The intention is artistic and reflective.
What you will not be offered
No instruction in how to harm yourself or anyone else. No incitement to violence, self-harm, or suicide. No shock calculated only to wound the passer-by. No sexual content involving anyone under eighteen — ever.
Intention is the border. If a piece crosses from looking into recruiting, it does not belong here.
Children and faces
You will not be offered photographs of children, nor a recording of a child’s voice, nor a clear likeness of anyone under eighteen. That is a house rule as well as a legal floor.
You may meet drawings, paintings, and other stylized figures. You should not meet a clear photograph of a private person hung without a right to show them. An adult’s self-portrait may appear if that adult hung it. The Terms state the legal outline (GDPR, the right to one’s image, and why the artistic exemption is narrow). The safer form here is the sketch, not the unfiltered portrait.
Inside, members may hang their own recordings. The chamber is not a host for other people’s catalogues. AI-made pieces must be disclosed. The Terms state the music rule.
If this is too much
Turn away. The door is allowed to stay closed. If images of injury or death unsettle you beyond what you can hold, do not enter the inner rooms.
If you are in crisis, this site cannot help you. Use local emergency services. The house is an atelier, not a clinic.
This is the house’s published notice for how the sanctuary is run. It is not personal legal advice.
